- Adhere to maximum rated lamp wattage, displayed on product label.
- Operate only using a suitable, approved power supply.
- Ensure luminaire is not installed near flammable or easily combustible materials.
- Operation of 35W or 50W lamps can generate significant heat.
- Ensure placement prevents accidental contact with exposed luminaire surfaces when operating.
- All installations MUST comply with local regulations. Mains work must be performed by a qualified electrican.
- Ensure power supply is disconnected from mains before installation.
- Ensure mounting surface is fl at and free of sharp edges or obstructions.
- Fasten lamp to wall or mounting surface using the supplied mounting accessories.
- Attach leads to power supply cable - either by soldering or using cable attachment gland, available separately.
- Remove outer ring or luminaire casing, usually by unscrewing cover.
- Insert correctly rated bulb into the holder, ensuring holding ring (if present) is inserted fi rst.
- Reassemble lamp head in reverse order to which it was disassembled.
- If inground or burial model, ensure lamp is correctly fi tted or securely embedded.
To maintain the finish on 304 & 316 grade stainless steel fi ttings, it is recommended that the luminaire is washed with
water to prevent salt spray and other corrosive substances from building up on the fi tting. If product exhibits “tea-staining”
(yellowish tinge), apply a professional stainless cleaning product, available from hardware and other lighting stores.
